The
Acceleration Test mode records acceleration, motor current, and
wind speed or voltage at a high frequency. It is used as a diagnostic
test for certain problems.

Speed Mode reports the maximum
speed achieved during a trip. The speed can be measured from
anywhere - the elevator car, the ground, or even your office -
without using a tachometer! |
The
Inspection Mode shows what the elevator is doing at any instant.
It is also useful for long-term monitoring of the
elevator, since it records acceleration events, trip data, energy,
speed, and total
usage.

In addition,
Inspection Mode allows the technician or elevator owner
to record observations in a checklist. |
Inspection Mode also records gate
activity, and periodic readings from a variety of sensors. A variety
of sensors can be used to measure all aspects of the elevator
operation.
Whenever a sensor reading exceeds a
user-specified limit in
Inspection Mode, it is recorded in the stored data and shown on
the screen.. |
Inspection Mode monitors the
status of the variable frequency drive. The user can instantly see
any alarms and faults that occur. |
Parameter settings for all modes can be
easily changed to provide flexibility. |
